💛 Make a Real Difference Every Day

We’re looking for a compassionate, committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a wonderful child in a warm, welcoming mainstream primary school in Billingshurst.

If you’re the kind of person who lights up when a child makes progress — big or small — and you genuinely love helping little learners feel safe, understood and supported, this could be the perfect role for you.

🌈 About the Role

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo, you’ll be providing personalised 1:1 support tailored to the child’s needs. Your day might include:

  • Supporting emotional regulation and building confidence
  • Helping with communication, routines and structured learning
  • Providing calm, patient reassurance throughout the day
  • Encouraging independence through gentle, consistent guidance
  • Creating a positive, nurturing learning experience inside and outside the classroom

This role is ideal for someone who is caring, resilient, and naturally good at forming trusting relationships with children who need extra support.

What Makes This School Wonderful?

  • A friendly, inclusive primary with a genuine community feel
  • A supportive leadership team who really value their staff
  • Fantastic SEN support and guidance — you’ll never feel on your own
  • A child‑centred approach where wellbeing always comes first

💡 We’d Love to Hear From You If…

  • You have experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, SEMH, communication needs, etc.)
  • You’re patient, positive and calm under pressure
  • You’re confident building strong, trusting relationships
  • You’re a real team player with a nurturing approach

Level 2/3 qualifications are a bonus — but passion, kindness and reliability matter most.
