A supportive and inclusive primary school in Bexhill-on-Sea is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil with additional needs on a long-term basis.
The school is committed to providing high-quality SEND provision and places a strong emphasis on consistency, emotional wellbeing and inclusive practice.
The role involves:
Providing 1:1 support throughout the school day
Supporting communication, engagement and emotional regulation
Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher and external professionals
Creating a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous SEND or 1:1 experience
Is patient, reliable and compassionate
Can commit to a long-term placement
Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to apply)
