A welcoming and inclusive primary school on the outskirts of Eastbourne is looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 2 with Autism and communication needs.

This school has a strong SENDCo, excellent pastoral care and a genuine commitment to inclusive education. They are seeking someone patient, emotionally intelligent and confident working with additional needs.

The role involves:

• Providing consistent 1:1 classroom support

• Supporting communication and emotional regulation

• Implementing EHCP strategies

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo

• Encouraging independence and social development

Experience in:

• Autism (ASC)

• Speech & language support

• Sensory strategies

• Behaviour support within primary settings
