🎒 About the Role

As the school’s new Year 1 Teacher, you’ll be:

Delivering engaging and creative lessons aligned with Year 1 curriculum goals
Teaching high‑quality phonics, early reading and early maths
Using play‑based and structured learning to build confidence and independence
Creating a nurturing, consistent classroom environment
Working closely with the KS1 team to plan, assess and differentiate
Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
Contributing to a positive, upbeat school community

⭐ Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

A qualified Primary Teacher (QTS)
Confident and experienced in KS1
Strong in phonics and early literacy teaching
Warm, nurturing and energetic
Able to build trust and relationships quickly
Creative, organised and passionate about child development
A real team‑player who enjoys shared planning and collaboration
