Are you experienced in supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)?

We are recruiting a dedicated PMLD Learning Support Assistant for a specialist setting in Portsmouth supporting pupils with complex medical, physical and communication needs.

This role requires patience, resilience and a genuinely nurturing approach.

The role includes:

• Supporting pupils with complex needs on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Personal care and moving & handling

• Working alongside therapists and medical professionals

• Supporting sensory-based learning and engagement activities

Requirements:

• Experience supporting PMLD or complex needs

• DBS on the Update Service

• Up-to-date safeguarding training

• Calm, compassionate and reliable
