A supportive special school in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including autism and communication difficulties.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a highly supportive SEND environment where staff work closely together to help pupils achieve success.

The role:
• Supporting pupils with SEND in the classroom
• Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions
• Supporting communication and social development
• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff

Requirements:
• Experience working with children or SEND pupils
• Enthusiastic and supportive attitude
• DBS on the Update Service
• Safeguarding training
