We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistants to join a mainstream secondary school supporting students with additional needs, including Autism and other Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with young people who require extra support to access learning, build confidence and thrive both academically and socially. You will play a key role in small group interventions and 1:1 support, working alongside teaching staff to create meaningful progress.
Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs
Deliver and support small group intervention sessions
Assist students in accessing curriculum content
Support pupils with Autism and other SEN requirements
Promote engagement, independence and positive behaviour
Support emotional regulation and social development
Work closely with class teachers and the SEN team
Monitor progress and contribute to student development
Help maintain a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment

Experience with SEN or Autism is desirable but not essential — attitude and commitment matter most.
