A wonderful term‑time only nursery is looking for a kind, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and work with small groups of children with complex needs.

💛 About the Role

As the SEN TA, you’ll provide support to small groups of children with complex needs, including communication difficulties, developmental delays and sensory needs.

Your role will include:

• Supporting individual and small‑group learning through play
• Using visuals, routines and sensory strategies to help children regulate
• Helping children develop communication, early social skills and confidence
• Working closely with the SENCo and lead practitioners to follow support plans
• Building positive, trusting relationships with both the children and their families
• Creating a warm, nurturing environment where children can thrive

• Experience in Early Years, SEN, care or nursery settings
• Someone patient, gentle, and consistent
