A specialist SEMH school in Havant is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team supporting pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support.

The students in this setting often arrive after struggling in mainstream schools and benefit from strong role models who can provide consistency, boundaries and encouragement.

This is a rewarding but demanding role where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting students with SEMH needs within the classroom
Working 1:1 with pupils who require additional support
Helping pupils develop strategies for emotional regulation
Supporting teachers with behaviour management strategies
Encouraging engagement with learning
