A specialist SEND school in Basingstoke is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, learning difficulties and SEMH.

This school prides itself on creating a supportive and structured environment where pupils feel safe and encouraged to engage with learning.

You will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils both academically and emotionally throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting pupils within classroom learning activities
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
• Encouraging engagement and independence
• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff

Requirements:

• Experience supporting SEND pupils
• DBS on the Update Service
• Up to date safeguarding training

Immediate work available with potential long-term placements.
