A specialist SEND school in Gosport is seeking a Classroom Support Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, learning difficulties and SEMH.

You will play a key role supporting pupils during lessons and helping them access learning activities.

The role will involve:

• Supporting pupils during classroom activities
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation
• Supporting structured routines and learning tasks
• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff

Requirements:

• Experience working with SEND pupils
• DBS on the Update Service
• Up to date safeguarding training
