Pink Tile Education is supporting a warm, nurturing and forward‑thinking primary school in the Bognor Regis area who are looking to appoint a caring, committed SEND Teaching Assistant on a fixed‑term contract starting April 2026.

This role offers the chance to become part of a supportive and enthusiastic team, working closely with teachers and leaders who are passionate about providing outstanding opportunities for every child. You’ll play a key role in delivering 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs, helping them access learning, grow in confidence, and flourish within the school community.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing patient, consistent 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs
• Helping the pupil engage in lessons, build key skills, and access the curriculum
• Supporting emotional regulation, communication and social interaction
• Working closely with teaching staff, specialists and the SEN lead
• Creating a calm, nurturing and encouraging learning environment
• Contributing to creative and inclusive approaches across the classroom

• Passionate about supporting pupils with SEND
• Experienced working with children, ideally within a school setting
• Able to build positive relationships and communicate clearly
• Proactive, flexible, patient, and well‑organised
• A strong team player with a caring, energetic approach
• Interested in developing their knowledge of SEND and child development
