Ideal Backgrounds (but not essential)

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in schools or other settings)

  • Work within specialist provisions, SEN schools or alternative provisions

  • Experience supporting individuals with SLD, dyslexia or additional learning needs

  • Care or support work with individuals who have complex needs

  • Experience using strategies such as visual aids, structured routines or differentiated support

  • Youth work or mentoring with vulnerable learners

  • Anyone with hands-on experience supporting individuals with additional needs who is looking to transition into education
