Are you confident working with young people and looking for a rewarding role in education? This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a classroom-based position delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting students across secondary schools in Horsham.

Pink Tile Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to work as Classroom Support Teachers across a range of secondary schools in Horsham. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by delivering lessons that have been set by teaching staff and supporting students to stay focused and engaged.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in youth work, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or anyone confident working with young people who is looking to step into school-based work.

The Role:

You will be responsible for leading classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task and the learning environment is positive and productive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lesson materials across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support students to remain focused, engaged, and productive
• Provide clear instructions and ensure lesson continuity
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching, or similar)
• Strong communication and confident presence in group settings
• Ability to manage behaviour and build positive relationships
• A proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach
• No formal teaching experience required

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Availability between 08:30 – 15:30, 2–5 days per week
• Right to work in the UK
