We are working with a specialist SEMH setting in Portsmouth looking for a resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
This is a full-time, long-term role where you will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them regulate behaviour and re-engage with learning — a key part of SEMH support roles
The role:
Supporting pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
Building strong, consistent relationships
Delivering tailored support in and out of the classroom
Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
You must have:
Experience with children, young people or vulnerable individuals
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (child workforce)
Up-to-date safeguarding training
