We’re working with a specialist school in Farnborough supporting pupils with SEMH and moderate learning needs, and they’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant who can bring consistency, patience, and a calm presence into the classroom.
You’ll be supporting pupils who may have experienced challenges in mainstream education — your role is to help them re-engage, regulate, and succeed.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Managing behaviour using a positive, structured approach
Building trust with pupils who need stability and support
Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff
We’re looking for:
Experience in SEMH, SEND, youth work or care
Someone calm, resilient and confident with behaviour
A team player who can commit to a long-term role
This is a temp to perm opportunity where you can genuinely grow within the school.
