Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Secondary School (Crawley)
Pink Tile Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a lovely secondary school in Crawley. What We’re Looking For
- A caring and motivated individual who enjoys supporting young people in a secondary school setting
- Experience working in a school or educational environment is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Ability to provide 1:1 and group support tailored to the needs of individual students
- A current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Flexible, patient, and proactive approach to supporting both learning and wellbeing
Role Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence
- Support small group learning, adapting activities to meet different abilities and learning styles
- Assist in classroom management, helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students’ personal and social development, encouraging engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement learning plans and provide feedback on student progress
