Primary Teacher – KS2 (Maternity Cover)

Full‑time | Main Pay Scale

Start: September 2026 | Fixed term until May 2027 (approx.) Bognor Regis/Chichester area

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to take on a full‑time maternity cover role from the beginning of the Autumn Term 2026, continuing into Spring 2027.

This role would suit a teacher who enjoys creating positive learning experiences, maintaining high standards, and contributing to a supportive and collaborative working environment. Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers as well as experienced practitioners.


The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Deliver consistently high‑quality teaching and learning within Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and clear expectations for behaviour
  • Use effective, inclusive teaching strategies to support all learners
  • Show commitment to pupil progress, wellbeing and development
  • Be reflective, organised and keen to contribute beyond the classroom
  • Work well as part of a wider team and communicate effectively with colleagues and families
