Behaviour & Inclusion Mentor – Secondary SEND Setting (Basingstoke)
This is a role for someone who can see past behaviour and understand what’s really going on.
We’re recruiting a Behaviour & Inclusion Mentor for a specialist secondary setting in Basingstoke, supporting students with SEMH and additional needs.
You’ll be working with pupils who may have been disengaged from education, helping them re-engage, build confidence and develop positive routines.
The role:
- 1:1 mentoring and small group support
- Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
- Encouraging attendance, engagement and routine
- Working closely with pastoral and teaching teams
What’s on offer:
- £93 per day
- Temp to perm after 12 weeks
- Full-time role
- Immediate start
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Can remain calm and consistent under pressure
- Has experience with challenging behaviour
Requirements:
- DBS on the Update Service
- Up-to-date safeguarding training
