Primary Teacher

About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary School Teachers (KS1 & KS2) to join a welcoming and supportive school environment in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience across a variety of settings.

The role offers flexibility, with opportunities for both day-to-day supply and longer-term placements, allowing you to build strong relationships within a school community while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress where required
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools (KS1 and/or KS2)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
