SEN Teaching Assistant – SEN School, Faversham

A specialist SEN school in Faversham is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

This is a rewarding role supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, working 1:1 and in small groups, as well as within the classroom.

The role:

Supporting pupils with SEN needs on a 1:1 and group basis
Providing in-class support to help pupils access learning
Supporting behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation
Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support individual learning plans

The successful candidate will:

Have experience working with children with SEN needs (school, education or care setting)
Be able to work 1:1 or with small groups
Be patient, resilient and nurturing in their approach
Have good communication and behaviour management skills

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking for a stable, long-term position within a specialist SEN setting.
