KS1 Teacher – Eastbourne Primary | Supply & Long-Term Opportunities

A well-supported primary school in Eastbourne is looking for a KS1 Teacher to join them on a supply or long-term basis.

The class has a broad range of abilities, including pupils who benefit from additional structure and support. The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging lessons, adapt when needed, and build positive relationships with pupils.

Non-negotiables (please only apply if you meet these):

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Recent UK classroom experience (KS1 preferred)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

What the role involves:

  • Delivering and adapting KS1 lessons to meet a range of needs
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
  • Working collaboratively with TAs and SEN staff

This role would suit someone who:

  • Is confident managing a mixed-ability classroom
  • Brings a calm, consistent approach
  • Values structure, but can be flexible when needed
  • Reliable
