Autism Support Assistant – Secondary School (Burgess Hill Area)

We’re looking for a proactive and caring Autism Support Assistant to join a specialist secondary SEND school in the Burgess Hill area. You’ll support students with autism to access learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills in a structured, supportive environment.

The Role:

  • Support students 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assist with tailored learning activities
  • Encourage independence and social development
  • Support behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with teaching staff

Key Details:

  • Burgess Hill area
  • 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • £106.88 per day
  • Temp-to-perm after 12 weeks

What We Need:

  • Experience with SEND (essential)
  • Understanding of autism
  • Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
