About the Role
This is a flexible supply position within Key Stage 1, offering a variety of opportunities ranging from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements. It is ideal for teachers who are adaptable and confident stepping into different classroom environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining strong classroom routines, and supporting pupils with a range of learning and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum (for longer-term placements)
Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning (for short-term/daily cover)
Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress where required
Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities, including pupils with SEND
Maintain a structured, positive, and well-managed classroom environment
Apply effective behaviour management strategies consistently
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
Communicate effectively with staff and, where appropriate, parents and carers
