Special Needs Assistant – Portsmouth – After May Half Term

Pink Tile Education are recruiting for a Special Needs Assistant for a long-term position within a supportive primary setting in Portsmouth after the May half term.

The role will involve supporting children with SEND needs both on a 1:1 basis and within small classroom groups.

The school are looking for someone who is:

• Friendly and approachable
• Confident supporting children with additional needs
• Flexible and proactive
• Able to adapt support styles depending on pupil needs
• Passionate about helping children thrive within education

Needs within the setting include:

• Autism
• SEMH
• ADHD
• Speech & Language difficulties
• Executive functioning difficulties

Experience following EHCP targets and supporting emotional regulation would be highly beneficial.

Applicants MUST:

• Hold a DBS registered to the Update Service
• Have up-to-date safeguarding training
