Pink Tile Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Bognor Regis to recruit a Graduate Teacher of Religious Education for a September start.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about Religious Education and eager to inspire young people. Role Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.

  • Build positive relationships with students and contribute to their academic and personal development.

  • Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and engagement within Religious Education.

  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

  • Engage with ongoing professional development opportunities.

  • Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Ideal Candidate

  • Passionate about inspiring and supporting young people aged 11–18.

  • Committed to helping students develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.

  • Motivated to develop their teaching practice and progress within the profession.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work collaboratively and build positive relationships.

  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.

Essential Requirements

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English Language and Mathematics.

  • A-Level grades with a combined minimum of BCC, including at least a Grade B in Religious Studies or a related subject.

  • A 2:2 degree or above in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a closely related subject.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or similar setting is desirable.
