Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
Build positive relationships with students and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and engagement within Religious Education.
Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Engage with ongoing professional development opportunities.
Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
Passionate about inspiring and supporting young people aged 11–18.
Committed to helping students develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
Motivated to develop their teaching practice and progress within the profession.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work collaboratively and build positive relationships.
Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English Language and Mathematics.
A-Level grades with a combined minimum of BCC, including at least a Grade B in Religious Studies or a related subject.
A 2:2 degree or above in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a closely related subject.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Previous experience working with young people in an educational, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or similar setting is desirable.
