SEND Pupil Support Assistant – Specialist Provision in Reigate

Start: Immediate & September Starts Available
Pay: £93 – £100 per day
Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only

A welcoming specialist setting in Reigate are looking for a SEND Pupil Support Assistant to join their team.

You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, autism, speech & language needs, and social, emotional and behavioural needs within a structured and supportive environment.

The role is hands-on, varied, and incredibly rewarding.

The role will include:

Supporting learning activities within the classroom
Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
Encouraging engagement, confidence, and positive relationships
Helping create a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals
Ideally experience supporting SEMH or challenging behaviour
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive and adaptable attitude

Training and ongoing support will be provided.
