Pink Tile Education are working in partnership with a specialist Provision in the Burgess Hill area, who are seeking a passionate, resilient, and adaptable Science Teacher to join their team from September.
This provision supports pupils aged 5–16 who are unable to access mainstream education due to medical needs, behavioural challenges, social, emotional and mental health needs, or other barriers to learning. The school provides a highly supportive and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to rebuild confidence, regulate emotions, and positively re-engage with education.
The successful candidate will be teaching Science across secondary age groups, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet a range of learning abilities and additional needs. Many pupils may have experienced disruption within education and can present with low confidence, emotional dysregulation, or behavioural challenges, so the school are looking for someone calm, patient, and relationship-focused.
This role would suit someone who understands that behaviour is often a form of communication and who can approach challenges with consistency, empathy, and resilience.
