A supportive specialist SEN school in Croydon is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.

You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and behavioural needs within a nurturing and structured environment.

This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone passionate about making a positive impact in education.

The role will include:

• Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
• Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Helping create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals
• Ideally experience supporting SEN or additional learning needs
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, adaptable, and positive attitude

Training and ongoing support will be provided.
