We are currently recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants for specialist schools across Surrey and surrounding areas for September starts.
These roles involve supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence within education.
What the role involves:
• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Helping students manage behaviour and emotional regulation
• Encouraging engagement within lessons and routines
• Building positive and consistent relationships
• Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams
We welcome applicants from backgrounds such as:
• Care and support work
• Youth work and mentoring
• Sports coaching
• Mental health and wellbeing support
• Residential care
• Customer-facing roles requiring resilience and communication skills
