We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistants to join our team supporting children and young people in educational settings across the Burgess Hill area.
This rewarding role involves working closely with students who may display challenging behaviours or require additional emotional, social, and behavioural support to access learning successfully. You will play a key role in helping students develop positive relationships, improve engagement, and achieve their full potential.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social needs.
Build positive and professional relationships with students, staff, and families.
Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies and individual support plans.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience.
Assist teachers in managing classroom behaviour and engagement.
Record observations and contribute to student progress reports where required.
