Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant – Temp to Perm

Up to £25k to £31k Salary available

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Bexhill. This full-time role will begin on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract after a successful 12-week period.

This position would suit an experienced Early Years practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education for young children.

The Role:

  • Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children’s progress.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitoring and recording children’s development and achievements.
  • Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.

We Are Looking For:

  • A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, nurturing, and professional approach.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
