Pink Tile Education are working with a friendly and supportive secondary school in Andover that is looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant for the new academic year.

This school has a dedicated SEND department and a strong pastoral team, offering excellent support both to pupils and staff. The role will involve working across different year groups, supporting students with a range of needs including learning difficulties and social/emotional challenges.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day and is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEND in lessons and intervention sessions
• Assist with adapting lesson materials and learning resources
• Provide pastoral and emotional support where required
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with young people (education, care, or youth work)
• Be empathetic, reliable, and adaptable
• Be confident working both 1:1 and within small groups
• Have a genuine interest in supporting SEND learners

Essential Requirements:

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
