Our thriving and inclusive school in Southampton is looking to welcome a passionate Student Inclusion Practitioner to our SEND support team. This exciting opportunity in Southampton would suit someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children with SEND and helping them overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEND requirements.
  • Support learning within the classroom and through targeted interventions.
  • Help students develop confidence, resilience and independence.
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
  • Work alongside teaching staff to adapt activities where required.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A calm, positive and resilient attitude.
  • Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
