Pink Tile Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded Alternative Provision for a Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated Inclusion Team, supporting pupils across Chichester and the surrounding areas.
This is a unique outreach role where you’ll work within mainstream primary and secondary schools, providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs who are at risk of exclusion. Your role will focus on helping young people remain engaged in education, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes within their school setting.
Working closely with experienced Inclusion Leaders, you’ll manage a small caseload of pupils across a local patch, travelling between schools throughout the week to deliver consistent, tailored support.
Deliver 1:1 support to pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
Encourage engagement, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
Liaise with Inclusion Leaders and school staff to implement support strategies.
Record pupil progress and contribute to individual support plans.
Travel between local schools within your allocated area.
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH or challenging behaviour.
Experience in either primary or secondary education.
A patient, resilient and proactive approach.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
£100 per day.
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
Mileage paid between schools.
Support with business insurance where needed.
Your own local caseload across Chichester and surrounding areas.
Ongoing support from a highly experienced Inclusion Team.
