We are currently recruiting for a qualified Teacher & Deputy SENCO to join a specialist SEMH school in West Drayton, supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate teacher looking to combine classroom teaching with a key leadership role, supporting the SENCO in ensuring high-quality provision for pupils with additional needs.

The Role:

  • Teaching pupils with SEMH needs, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Supporting the SENCO with the day-to-day coordination of SEND provision across the school
  • Contributing to EHCP reviews, annual reviews, and pupil progress meetings
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Promoting inclusive practice and supporting staff with strategies to meet individual pupil needs
  • Helping to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH, SEND, or additional needs
  • Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
  • Deputy SENCO experience or a willingness to develop within the role is desirable
