We are currently recruiting for a Positive Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEMH school in West Drayton, supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and helping pupils develop positive behaviours, build confidence, and thrive both academically and emotionally within a supportive school environment.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
  • Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adult and role model
  • Using positive behaviour strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement with learning
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting successful outcomes
  • Supporting pupils during challenging situations using a calm, consistent approach
  • Working closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable
  • Calm, resilient, and confident managing challenging behaviour
  • Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
  • Able to build positive, professional relationships with pupils
  • A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach
