£92.59 – £120 per day, depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Pupil Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Cranleigh, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication needs and associated learning difficulties.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEN needs throughout the school day
• Providing academic, emotional, and pastoral support in and out of the classroom
• Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adult and role model
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop confidence and independence
• Working closely with teachers and the wider support team to meet individual needs

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEND, or additional needs is desirable
• Calm, patient, and resilient with a positive attitude
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
• Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school’s rural location
