SEN English Teacher

Pink Tile Education are recruiting an SEN English Teacher to join a specialist secondary provision in Southampton.

The school supports pupils aged 11-16 with Dyslexia, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Autism and ADHD. Many students have previously struggled in mainstream settings and require specialist teaching approaches to develop confidence and achieve academic success.

The school is particularly proud of its literacy intervention programme and commitment to preparing students for GCSEs and further education pathways.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons
• Differentiate learning to meet individual needs
• Support literacy development across the curriculum
• Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews
• Inspire pupils to achieve their potential

Requirements

• QTS and English specialism
• Passion for SEND education
• Strong communication skills
• Flexible and creative teaching approach
