Do you have the resilience, patience and passion to support young people with social, emotional and mental health needs?

We’re recruiting Behaviour Mentors to join a specialist SEMH school in West Drayton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who require consistency, encouragement and positive role models to help them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Build positive relationships that promote trust, confidence and engagement.
  • Support pupils with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
  • Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour support strategies.
  • Help create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.

About You

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within education, SEMH, SEND, care or youth work.
  • Calm, resilient and confident supporting pupils with behaviours that may challenge.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passionate about helping young people succeed.
