SEND Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We’re recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil at a welcoming specialist school in Godalming.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping one child access learning, build confidence and achieve their individual goals within a supportive educational environment.

The Role

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
• Adapt learning activities to meet the pupil’s individual needs.
• Encourage engagement, independence and positive behaviour.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team.
• Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

About You

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND is desirable.
• Patient, caring and resilient, with a positive attitude.
• Able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school’s rural location.
