SEN Learning Support Assistant Required

Looking for a flexible Teaching Assistant role in Basingstoke?

A well-respected secondary school with a thriving SEND department is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils who require additional educational and emotional support. Key Duties:

  • Supporting students with SEND in lessons
  • Delivering targeted intervention programmes
  • Providing academic and emotional support
  • Encouraging engagement and classroom participation
  • Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities
  • Supporting students with Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties

We Are Looking For:

  • Previous Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor, Support Worker or SEND experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Confidence working with secondary-aged students
  • Ability to build trusting relationships
