SEN Learning Support Assistant (SEMH Focus)

Gosport | Full Time | Immediate Start Available

£14.25 per hour

Pink Tile Education are recruiting on behalf of a specialist provision in the Gosport area seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This role would suit someone who is calm, adaptable and passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning. Many pupils require additional support with emotional regulation, confidence building and engagement in education.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting with behaviour support strategies
• Promoting positive relationships and emotional wellbeing
• Encouraging engagement in lessons and activities
• Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams
• Supporting individual learning and behaviour plans

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience supporting SEND, SEMH or vulnerable learners
• A patient and positive approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A genuine commitment to making a difference
