Learning Support Assistant (SEND)

Portsmouth | Full Time | Term Time Only

£14.25 per hour

Pink Tile Education are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming SEND school in Portsmouth.

This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties and moderate learning needs. You’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to help pupils access learning, build confidence and develop vital life skills.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
• Helping to implement EHCP targets
• Encouraging independence and positive social interactions
• Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families

We’re looking for:

• Experience working with children or young people
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication skills
• An interest in SEND and inclusive education
• Ability to work as part of a team
