Pink Tile Education is working with a wonderful small specialist SEND/SEMH school located in beautiful grounds just outside Tunbridge Wells. The school is seeking two enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who is passionate about helping young people thrive, whether you already have education experience or are looking to transfer your skills from another sector.
The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and associated additional needs. Class sizes are small, allowing staff to build meaningful relationships and make a real impact every day.
The Role
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups of approximately 4–6 pupils.
- Assisting teachers to deliver engaging and differentiated learning activities.
- Building positive relationships that promote confidence, resilience and engagement.
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
- Encouraging independence, communication and social development.
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom.

Experience We Would Love to See
- Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant experience.
- SEND, SEMH or Alternative Provision experience.
- Youth work or mentoring experience.
- Residential childcare experience.
- Support worker or care worker experience.
- Sports coaching or outdoor education experience.
- Mental health support experience.
- Nursery, childcare or family support experience.
Transferable Backgrounds Encouraged to Apply

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if required.
