We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Hastings, supporting children and young people who need somebody in their corner. Every day is different, every achievement matters, and the impact you make will be seen and felt.

You’ll work closely with pupils who may have SEND, SEMH, Autism, ADHD or additional learning needs, helping them to build confidence, develop positive relationships and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

Whether it’s celebrating a breakthrough in learning, helping a pupil regulate their emotions or simply being the consistent, trusted adult they need, this is a role where your support genuinely matters.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Encouraging engagement with learning and classroom activities.
• Building positive relationships and promoting self-confidence.
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
• Helping pupils develop social and communication skills.
• Working alongside teachers and specialist staff to create positive outcomes.

Who We’re Looking For:
You don’t need to have worked in a school before.
