Pink Tile Education are recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to support pupils within a specialist educational setting in Hastings.

This rewarding role involves providing tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes throughout the school day. You may also support pupils within small group activities when required.

The school supports children and young people with a range of needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, communication difficulties and other additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing consistent 1:1 support to individual pupils.
• Supporting pupils to engage with lessons and daily routines.
• Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour support strategies.
• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
• Working closely with teachers and other professionals to implement support plans.
• Recording observations and providing feedback on pupil progress where required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
• A patient, nurturing and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to remain calm and positive when supporting pupils with additional needs.
• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
