Teaching Assistant

Slough, Berkshire | £14.25 per hour | Full-Time | Monday to Friday

A specialist SEN primary school in Slough is looking for a caring, patient and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs and additional learning needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, building strong relationships and helping pupils feel supported, engaged and confident within the school environment.

About the Role

• Support primary-aged pupils with SEN and additional needs
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required
• Help pupils engage with learning and daily activities
• Support pupils with communication, confidence and emotional regulation
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children with SEN/SEND or additional needs
• A calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Resilience and adaptability
• A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them progress

Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker or similar would be beneficial.
