A welcoming one-form entry primary school in Guildford is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team and teach a Year 2 class.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate KS1 Teacher / Year 2 Teacher who enjoys creating an engaging, inclusive and positive classroom environment where children can thrive.

About the Role

• Teach a Year 2 class within a one-form entry primary school
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils
• Work closely with colleagues and the wider school team
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Contribute to the wider life of the school

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Previous experience teaching within KS1 / Year 2 would be beneficial
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• A creative, engaging and inclusive approach to teaching
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their potential
• Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit school team
