Pink Tile Education is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Bromley, supporting pupils with additional needs including ASD and challenging behaviour.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an important role in helping pupils engage with their learning, develop their confidence and become more independent.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
Supporting small-group interventions and learning activities
Supporting pupils with ASD and challenging behaviour
Helping pupils manage their emotions and behaviour positively
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
Following individual support and behaviour plans
Encouraging pupils to develop their confidence, independence and social skills
We are looking for someone who is:
Patient, empathetic and enthusiastic
Confident supporting children with SEND, ASD and challenging behaviour
A strong team player who can also work independently and use their own initiative
Calm and consistent when managing challenging situations
Reliable, proactive and committed to making a positive difference
Experienced in education, SEND, care or support work (desirable but not essential)
